Bala Vinayagam

Bala Vinayagam is an Environmental Engineer currently employed at ASPPEC CONSULTANCY since July 2023. Previously, Bala held various positions at Saahas Zero Waste from September 2021 to July 2023, including Associate Manager and Solid Waste Management Researcher, where significant contributions were made to waste management projects and a thesis was authored on decentralized waste management through rural Material Recovery Facility implementation. Prior experience includes serving as a Site Engineer at Arabian Coast Contracting LLC from June 2019 to October 2020, managing construction activities for infrastructure projects under the client EMAAR, and early roles as a Project Intern at E31 Building Contracting and a Summer Intern at Desert Group, both focused on construction management and quality assurance. Bala holds a Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College.
