Ivonne Deliz has a strong background in software development and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Ivonne started their professional journey as a Summer Intern at the University of Kentucky in 2006, where they developed Virtual Museum Software using C++ and OpenGL. In 2007, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where they designed and developed a Web Application for Stress Testing Financial Portfolios. Ivonne then moved on to the Automated Remote Biodiversity Monitoring Network, where they served as a Software Developer and Researcher, developing the Visualizer, a web application for analyzing spectrograms and training automated species recognition using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and AJAX. At NASA Ames Research Center, Ivonne worked as a Summer Intern in the Intelligent Robotics Group, collaborating on the development of Eclipse plug-ins for Verve, a 3D Data Visualization tool for planetary rovers using Java and Ardor3D. Lastly, they joined ASRC Federal in 2010 as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, focused on developing Playbook, a web-based plan viewing and crew execution tool for mission operations, as well as COCPIT, the Playbook version for the Mars2020 Rover using JavaScript, HTML, Backbone, D3, SVG, jQuery, node server, and Redis database.
Ivonne Deliz completed their B.S. in Computer Science from Universidad de Puerto Rico between 2003 and 2008. Ivonne then pursued further education and obtained an M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering between 2008 and 2010.
