Hamza Shahzad

Hamza Shahzad is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative software solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior/Principal Software Engineer at mobileLIVE Inc since October 2021, Hamza has played a crucial role in creating a Cross Border Currency Exchange system for Monie Payments Corp and an AI & ML-based Employee Recommendation System. Prior to this, Hamza worked as a Senior Java Developer at Rogers Communications and as a Software & Database Engineer II at Careem. Significant contributions include developing APIs, enhancing functionality in retail systems, and managing database services using AWS. Hamza also has a strong background in financial services, having developed core products for Avanza Solutions and provided technical consulting for Noor Bank. Early career experiences include a role as a Java Software Engineer at Khazina Technologies and a Game Programmer position for a US-based company. Hamza holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, completed in 2016.
