Director, Innovation Process at ASSA ABLOY

Chris Anderson has extensive work experience in various roles related to innovation, process improvement, and engineering. CHRIS is currently the Director of Innovation Process at ASSA ABLOY Group, Yale Home Global, and August Home, Inc. Since 2021, they have been responsible for leading innovation initiatives in the smart residential industry. Prior to that, Chris worked at Webcor from 2017 to 2021, where they held the positions of Sr. Manager and Manager of Performance Excellence. CHRIS also worked as a Lean Transformation Consultant at Slalom Consulting from 2014 to 2017, and as a Lean Startup Consultant at Deohako from 2010 to 2014. Chris began their career as a Development Engineer at Atec, Inc. in 2006. Throughout their career, Chris has consistently focused on driving process improvement and innovation in various industries.

Chris Anderson earned an MBA in Systems Management as a Deming Scholar from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, they obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Chris also holds various additional certifications, including Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance (obtained in November 2016), Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt from Villanova University (obtained in March 2016), and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Accenture (obtained in September 2009).
