Valdério Matias da Silva

Val Delos Santos-Duarte has extensive experience in education, serving as an educator at St. Anthony Grade School and St. Anthony School since August 1992. Additionally, Val worked as a Plant Quarantine Aide for the USDA since August 2019 and held previous educational roles such as Division Chair for the Young Pre-School Division at Star of The Sea Early Learning Center from February 1990 to June 1992, and teacher at Makiki Christian Pre-School from February 1987 to February 1990. Prior experience includes roles as a Crisis Intervention Worker and Outreach Worker at Kapiolani Women's and Children's Medical Center from July 1985 to February 1987. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Ecological Teaching and Learning from Lesley University, a Master of Education from Heritage University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Sociology from Pacific University, along with Child Development Accreditation from Honolulu Community College.
