Karin Gibson

Karin Gibson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the energy and accounting sectors. Currently serving as Group Finance Manager at Assala Energy since April 2017, Karin has held key financial roles at Tullow Oil, including Netherlands finance lead and operations accountant, as well as financial accountant at Element Six. Previous positions include financial analyst and statutory accountant at BHP Billiton, group financial reporting team member at Stenham Property, and senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where Karin focused on the Consumer Industrial Products & Services division. Karin holds a CA(SA) designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Bachelor of Accounting with Honours from Stellenbosch University, and dual degrees in Accounting and Law from the same university.
