Joseph-Anthony Tan

Associate Scientist at Assembly Biosciences

Joseph-Anthony Tan has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Joseph-Anthony began their career as a Research Associate at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2006, where they worked until 2008. Joseph-Anthony then joined the University of California, San Francisco in 2011 as a Staff Research Associate II. In this role, they were responsible for managing and executing cell-based high-throughput drug screening and conducting research on affectors of neuromyelitis optica (NMO) disorder using confocal microscopy techniques. Most recently, Joseph-Anthony Tan has been working at Assembly Biosciences, Inc. since 2021. Joseph-Anthony started as a Senior Research Associate and currently serves as an Associate Scientist.

Joseph-Anthony Tan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
