Peter Haggie has extensive work experience in the field of biology and research. Peter is currently serving as the Associate Director of Discovery Biology at Assembly Biosciences, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UCSF Medical Center from 1999 to 2021, where they held various positions including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoctoral Researcher. Additionally, from 2017 to 2021, Peter served as the Scientific Director at Emily's Entourage.
Peter Haggie obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Peter then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
