Graeme Reed

Graeme Reed serves as the Strategic Advisor for the Environment, Lands & Water Branch at the Assembly of First Nations, where responsibilities include linking sectors, mentoring junior directors, and providing strategic advice. Reed has previously held roles such as Senior Policy Advisor and Senior Policy Analyst, contributing to climate policy and advocating for First Nations rights. Through academic positions as a contract instructor and guest lecturer, Reed has focused on Indigenous governance and climate action. Additional experience includes a fellowship at Action Canada, supporting teacher selection in First Nations communities, and consulting on environmental projects. Education includes a PhD in Rural Studies from the University of Guelph, a Master's in Renewable Resources from McGill University, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.
