Charmaine D'Silva

Charmaine D'Silva has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Charmaine recently joined Assent as the Director of Analyst and Public Relations. Prior to that, they worked at OpenText as the Director of Public Relations, where they focused on strategic public relations initiatives to promote the company's brand and reputation. Charmaine also has experience as a Principal at CD Consulting Group, where they provided corporate communications and public relations services to startups in the tech sector. Before that, Charmaine held leadership positions at Flipp and Xtreme Labs, where they led communications and PR functions. Charmaine also worked at Rogers Communications, Accenture, Psion Teklogix Inc., Algorithmics Inc., and Tucows Inc., where they held various roles in media and analyst relations, global public relations, and public relations management. Charmaine has extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, social media, reputation management, internal communications, and employer branding.

Charmaine D'Silva completed their B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph from 1992 to 1996. Later, in 2006 and 2007, they pursued an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Additionally, Charmaine obtained the certification of Situational Leadership® II Trainer in January 2018.
