Andrew Prokop

Andrew Prokop has been working in the tech industry for over 30 years. Andrew started their career at Nortel in 1983 as a Senior Sales Engineer. Andrew worked closely with a team of account managers to position Nortel voice, data, contact center, and self-service applications for companies throughout Minnesota. Some of their larger companies include Best Buy, Park Nicollet Health Services, Fairview Health Services, Marketing Architects, Young America Corporation, Patterson Dental and Medical, and Carlson. Andrew has designed large deployments of voice over IP and distributed contact center. Additionally, they have been instrumental in positioning Unified Communications (both Nortel's own as well as Nortel integrated with Microsoft OCS) at a number of companies.

In 2009, Prokop left Nortel to become the Director of Vertical Industries at Arrow Systems Integration. Andrew stayed there for nine years before moving on to become the Director of Emerging Technologies at ConvergeOne in 2018. Andrew is currently working as an Advisor at Assertion.

Throughout their career, Prokop has worked as both a direct touch engineer as well as a providing support for Nortel's channel partners. Additionally, they have taught classes on Nortel's new technology to keep partners current on product portfolio and marketing programs.
