Garrett Beck has a wealth of work experience. Garrett began their career in 2006 when they attended UC Berkeley, earning a B.A. in Legal Studies. In 2008, they became a Sales Intern at Economic Business Alignment, where they developed strategies for fortune 500 companies and coordinated contractual arrangements for corporations. In 2010, they worked as an Inside Sales Associate at Trulia, where they contacted various real estate agents and broke the company record of most sales in an employee's first month. That same year, they worked as a Law Clerk at Robinson, Calcagnie, & Robinson, where they conducted research and pertinent document discovery for product liability cases. In 2011, they worked as a Capital Asset Trader at CAE. In 2012, they became a Managing Partner and Co-founder at Applied and Integrated Capital Group, where they managed North America sales and business development teams. Finally, in 2013, they became the CEO and Co-founder at Asseta, a company that provides manufacturers access to the entire parts and used equipment market. Asseta is backed by top investors including Y Combinator, Red Swan Ventures, Winklevoss Capital, and Gil Penchina.

Garrett Beck attended Tesoro High School, followed by a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2013, they also attended Y Combinator.
