Chris van der Walt has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Chris is currently working at AssetFuture as the Head of Product. Prior to this role, they were a Product Lead at the same company. In 2020, they also worked at Ukufu in Business Development. From 2015 to 2020, Chris served as the CEO and Product Manager at Factr, a SaaS collaboration platform, where they were responsible for setting the product roadmap, leading UX design, managing teams, and spearheading business development efforts. Before that, they worked at Change Assembly Inc. as the CEO and Product Manager, where they launched a web application and engaged in revenue-generating pilots with UNICEF and other UN agencies. Chris also has experience working with the United Nations, where they held roles in graphic design, interaction design, strategic communications advising, and web development. Overall, they have demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong background in product management.
From 2013 to 2014, Chris van der Walt attended the University of Liverpool, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology.
