Alan Gardiner

Alan Gardiner has a strong background in software engineering and development. Alan is currently serving as the Head Of Engineering at Assetz Capital since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Lead at the same company from December 2020 to December 2021. Before joining Assetz Capital, they worked at Arkenford Ltd for several years. Alan started as a Systems Developer in May 2007 and eventually became the Systems Development Manager (Head of IT) in May 2014. During their time at Arkenford Ltd, they managed a small team, developed bespoke solutions for clients, and played a crucial role in infrastructure planning and IT-related aspects of an office move. Alan is experienced in architecting programmatic intercommunication between financial systems, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and designing and testing features for web-based applications and APIs.

Alan Gardiner attended The Gilberd School from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained their GCSEs. Alan then pursued higher education at the University of Surrey from 2005 to 2009, earning a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology.
