Ethan Andelman

Mr. Andelman brings extensive IP experience to ASSIA. He is as familiar with the boardroom as with the courtroom, having built a career negotiating business agreements and IP licenses and finding creative solutions to legal disputes. He was the general counsel of Kilopass Technology, a small VC-backed computer memory company in Silicon Valley now part of Synopsys, and handled litigation and IP licensing at NXP Semiconductors, a large, international, publicly-traded technology company. For 8 years, Mr. Andelman was a litigator at Howrey, LLP a well-regarded international law firm known for its IP practice. He is now putting his years of industry experience to work for a variety of Silicon Valley companies through his own firm, Andelman Legal.

Mr. Andelman holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and a BA in Economics and Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Wesleyan University. His bar memberships include California, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, California Federal Courts, and Federal Appellate Courts (9th and Federal Circuits).
