Kent Takeda has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Kent began their career in 1988 as a Branch Manager at AT&T Business Markets Group. Kent then moved on to AT&T Network Systems in 1990, where they served as a Director of Strategic Marketing for four years. In 1994, Kent worked as a Strategic Marketing Vice President at Lucent Technologies, and the following year, they became the New Growth Initiatives Vice President of Global Marketing at the same company. Kent co-founded Kestrel Solutions in 1997 and served as the Vice President of Sales & Service. Kent then joined Parama Networks in 2002 as the Vice President of Business Development & Sales. Kent also worked at Internet Photonics as the Vice President of Service Provider Business Unit in 2003. In 2004, they returned to Parama Networks as the Vice President of Business Development, and from 2006 to 2009, Kent worked as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Matisse Networks. Currently, Kent Takeda holds the position of Vice President & General Manager of Sales - North America at ASSIA, Inc., where they are responsible for customer relationships, business development, and sales in North America.
Kent Takeda began their education in 1965 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Kent then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, from 1969 to 1970, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance. In 1986, Kent attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for a Sloan Fellowship program, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in General Management in 1987.
