Brent Turman, CPA, CMA, CCE, B. Comm. (Hons.) has an extensive work history in the credit union industry. Brent currently holds the position of Chief Advice & Service Delivery Officer, Business, Community & Winnipeg Insurance Brokers at Assiniboine Credit Union since January 2022. Previously, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Entegra Credit Union from April 2019 to January 2022. Before that, Brent was the Chief Financial Officer at Steinbach Credit Union from July 2016 to March 2019. Brent also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Entegra Credit Union from October 1998 to July 2016. Prior to that, Brent worked as a Controller at Assiniboine Credit Union from May 1990 to October 1998.
Brent Turman, CPA, CMA, CCE, B. Comm. (Hons.) began their education journey in 1986 at the University of Manitoba, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree with a focus on Finance. Brent graduated from the university in 1991 after completing their studies.
In the year 2000, Brent entered CMA Manitoba, where they studied Management Accounting. Brent completed the program in 2004 and earned the designations of CPA and CMA. This education augmented their knowledge and skills in the field of accounting.
In 2015, Brent enrolled in the CUES CEO Institute at The Wharton School. Brent participated in the Executive Education program and attained the certification of Certified Chief Executive (CCE). Additionally, they completed the CUES CEO Institute - Level 1 course at the same institution to further develop their executive leadership abilities.
To supplement their education, Brent also attended the CUES CEO Institute in 2015, where they acquired a second certification as a Certified Chief Executive (CCE).
