Sue Whalley

Sue Whalley has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Sue served as the Chief People and Performance Officer at Associated British Foods plc since October 2019. Prior to that, they were the CEO/COO Royal Mail UK from 2014 to 2018, where they successfully transformed the business, introduced new technology, and implemented new ways of working. Sue also held the position of Group Director of Regulation and Government Affairs at Royal Mail from 2010 to 2013. Before joining Royal Mail, they worked at McKinsey & Company as a Partner from 1987 to 2006.

Sue Whalley earned a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School from 1989-1991. Sue Whalley also holds a Bachelor's degree, earning an MA in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge from 1984-1987.
