Brian Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brian most recently worked at Associated Colleges of the Midwest as the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and previously held the position of Vice President, Faculty Development and Grant Programs. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Advancement at Antioch College and The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Brian also held various positions at Knox College, including Vice President of Advancement and Director of Planned Giving. Before transitioning to the education and non-profit sectors, Brian worked as a Senior Lecturer and Director of Legal Methods at Cornell University and as a Senior Lecturer at Northwestern University School of Law. Brian began their career as an Associate at Vedder Price and as a Judicial Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In their earlier years, they gained experience as a Counselor at Camp Timberlane For Boys.
Brian Williams obtained a BA in American Studies from Knox College in 1986. Brian went on to complete a JD degree in Law from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1989. In 1994, they earned an MA degree in American History (United States) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Brian Williams participated in the IES Abroad program in London, although the specific degree or field of study is unknown.
