Jennifer Peltz

Jennifer Peltz is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in news writing and editing. Currently a staff writer at the Associated Press since October 2006, Jennifer has reported on significant topics including the coronavirus pandemic, the United Nations, and local New York City issues. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked at the Sun-Sentinel from December 2000 to May 2006, covering diverse subjects such as higher education and state legislature. Additional experience includes a position as a one-year resident at the Chicago Tribune, staff writing roles at The Palm Beach Post, The Riverdale Press, and the New York Observer, as well as various editorial positions at The East Hampton Star, The Sag Harbor Herald, and 27 East. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Yale University and multiple degrees in journalism from Northwestern University.
