Matthew Brown is a National Race and Politics Reporter at The Associated Press, previously serving as a Democracy Reporter at The Washington Post and a White House Reporter and Fact Check Reporter at USA TODAY. Earlier experience includes an editorial internship at POLITICO and an editorial internship at New York Amsterdam News, where Matthew participated as an Emma Bowen Fellow. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Dartmouth College and has also studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Havana in 2016.
