Nayeli Jaramillo-Plata

Nayeli Jaramillo-Plata is an emerging journalist with diverse experience in reporting and data management. Currently serving as a Voter Entry Operator for The Associated Press, Nayeli is responsible for gathering and reporting voting results nationwide for the 2024 election cycle. Additionally, Nayeli works as a Business Reporter for The Durham VOICE and holds an internship position at Bloomberg News. Nayeli has been an Advertising Assistant and Senior Writer for The Daily Tar Heel since August 2020, and is actively involved with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, serving as the Vice President at UNC-Chapel Hill and contributing as a Student Projects Reporter.
