Sara Trohanis

Vice President, National, Latin America, Technology Partnerships at The Associated Press

Sara Trohanis has extensive experience in the media industry. Sara worked at The NewsMarket from 2004 to 2007 as a Manager of Key Accounts, where they managed strategic corporate partnerships and developed digital media strategies. In 2007, they joined The Associated Press as a National Television Executive, responsible for managing sales and development of AP's multimedia content portfolio. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Director of National Networks and Major Accounts, overseeing key relationships with major U.S. television networks and emerging video platforms. Sara then became the Managing Director of National Networks and Major Accounts from 2015 to 2017, responsible for licensing and business development of AP's multimedia content and information services. Sara later became the Vice President of National and Latin American Media Markets and Vice President of National, Latin America, and Technology Partnerships, leading sales strategy and cross-functional revenue teams. In 2021, Sara joined Chief as a Member.

Sara Trohanis has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
