Edgar Mejia-Alezano

Edgar Mejia-Alezano serves as the President and CEO of Associated Students, Inc. at CSU Dominguez Hills, where responsibilities include leading advocacy efforts, fundraising, overseeing a Child Development Center, managing board members and staff, ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations, and fostering community partnerships. Prior roles include Executive Vice President and Director of Student Services, where Edgar represented 15,000 students and advocated for their interests. Additionally, Edgar gained experience as an intern with the California State Assembly and worked as a District Field Organizer for Sade Elhawary's campaign for State Assembly. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the same institution, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Tübingen.
