Brett Cox has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of radiation oncology. Brett currently holds the position of Medical Director of Chicago Radiation Oncology at Solaris Health, Associated Urological Specialists, LLC, and Advanced Urology Associates. Prior to this, they served as the Chairperson at Rush University Medical Center from 2020 to 2021. Brett also held significant positions at Northwell Health, where they were the Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Chief of Brachytherapy from 2012 to 2019. Brett Cox started their career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as an Assistant Professor, where they worked from 2007 to 2012.
Brett Cox pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 1996 from Stanford University. Following this, they attended Harvard Medical School from 1997 to 2002, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Subsequently, they enrolled in the Radiation Oncology Residency Program at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2007, completing a residency in Radiation Oncology.
