Peter van Den Berghe

Peter Van Den Berghe is a senior product development manager specializing in special projects at Associated Weavers Europe N.V. since February 2021. Prior to this role, Peter served as the R&D and Quality Manager at SEYNTEX from June 2015 to February 2021 and as COO at Bexco from February 2007 to June 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing R&D strategy and leading a team focused on developing new synthetic ropes. Peter's career began at Low & Bonar, where various positions included Plant Industrial Engineer and R&D Manager from September 1994 to February 2007. Peter holds a Master's degree in Textile Technology from Ghent University, complemented by further education in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Fabriplast and a certification in Sustainability Management from Vlerick Business School.
