Mike Laurie

Mike Laurie is a seasoned professional in transaction advisory services with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Managing Director at Forvis Mazars US since June 2024, Mike previously held the same role at FORVIS from June 2022 to June 2024, following a merger between BKD CPAs & Advisors and DHG. Prior to that, Mike was a Managing Director at BKD from January 2021 to June 2022 and spent 17 years at KPMG US as Managing Director in Deal Advisory. Mike has also launched a private M&A consulting practice and has held various leadership roles including President of the Kansas City Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). Mike holds an MBA from Emory University and a BS in Accounting from Kansas State University.
