Ashley Morales Diaz is currently working as an Architectural Designer and Project Designer at Lewis|Schoeplein architects. Ashley is also actively involved in the Association for Women in Architecture + Design as the Programs Co-Director and Advocacy Chair. Additionally, Ashley is the Creator and Co-Host of Disrupting Place. With previous experience as an Architectural Intern at Loescher Meachem Architects and various roles at different organizations, Ashley has a well-rounded background. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, with a focus on Ethnic, Cultural Minority, Gender, and Group Studies.

Association for Women in Architecture + Design
The Association for Women in Architecture + Design (AWA+D) is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California that is dedicated to advancing and supporting the positions of women in the architecture and design fields. As a Professional Society it provides support to working professionals through educational programming, networking and mentoring. An AWA Foundation raises funds for scholarships for women pursuing degrees in the design fields. AWA+D membership reflects the diversity of the design profession. The organization welcomes those interested in all areas of design, including but not limited to: architects, landscape architects, urban planners, engineers, interior designers, graphic designers, environmental consultants and designers, artists, students, and others interested in supporting the goals of the Association.
