The Association for Women in Architecture + Design (AWA+D) is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California that is dedicated to advancing and supporting the positions of women in the architecture and design fields. As a Professional Society it provides support to working professionals through educational programming, networking and mentoring. An AWA Foundation raises funds for scholarships for women pursuing degrees in the design fields. 

AWA+D membership reflects the diversity of the design profession. The organization welcomes those interested in all areas of design, including but not limited to: architects, landscape architects, urban planners, engineers, interior designers, graphic designers, environmental consultants and designers, artists, students, and others interested in supporting the goals of the Association.
