Katherine Wade is an experienced grant and development professional with a strong track record in nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Grants Manager at Association House of Chicago, Katherine leads grant strategy and fosters relationships with institutional funders to enhance development efforts. Previous roles include Development Manager at VOA Illinois, where responsibilities encompassed special events, donor engagement, and grant management, and Associate Director of Development at New City Kids, focusing on fundraising strategies and donor relations. Katherine's earlier experiences include Advancement and Communications Manager at Youth & Opportunity United and various positions as an AmeriCorps Member, facilitating educational support and enrichment activities. Katherine holds a degree in Community and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Association House of Chicago is a non-profit organization offering human-services programs that address both immediate and personal development needs. Based in Humboldt Park, Association House works with a multicultural, largely Latino and African-American population of all ages in Chicago’s under-served neighborhoods. Association House promotes health and wellness, and creates opportunities for educational and economic advancement across five service areas: Child Welfare, Behavioral Health, Community Health, Workforce Development, and the Association House High School.
