Director, Cyber Security at Association of American Railroads

Janet St. John has over 20 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity and threat analysis. Janet is currently working as the Director of Cyber Security at the Association of American Railroads. Prior to this, they were a Manager at KPMG US, where they conducted cyber assessments of federal agencies and assisted in the development of federal insider threat programs. Janet also served as a Liaison Engineer and Branch Team Lead at CSRA Inc, where they managed a team of analysts and developed strategies to monitor and mitigate anomalous behavior on the Department of State's networks. Janet St. John has also worked as a Project Manager and Site Lead at EWA-IIT, providing management support to the Cyber Threats Analysis Division and reviewing national level insider threat and cyber security policies for the Department of State. In addition, they have experience as a Project Manager at EWA IIT - Association of American Railroads, where they provided support on cyber security initiatives to AAR member railroads. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at EWA-IIT, managing the daily operations of various Information Sharing and Analysis Centers. Janet also served as a Highway ISAC Analyst at the American Trucking Associations and began their career as a Systems Analyst/Research Associate at Kennesaw State University.

Janet St.John attended Kennesaw State University from 1994 to 1998. Janet obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs/Economics and a Graduate Certification in Geographic Information Systems.
