Mike Martino has extensive work experience in the transportation industry. Mike started their career at Ringling as a Transportation Manager in 1986 and worked there until 1988. Mike then joined Amtrak as an AVP System Safety from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, they joined the Association of American Railroads (AAR) as a Senior Director of Safety & Operations. Mike held this role for six years before being promoted to the position of Senior Director of Operations in 2009. In 2017, they started their own company, MJ Martino and Associates, as a Transportation Consultant. Mike worked there until November 2020.
Mike Martino obtained a Master's degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended VMI from 1972 to 1976, but the degree and field of study are unspecified.
