Heather Fedesco currently serves as the Director for Academic Affairs and Executive Director of the Spectrum of Care Initiative at the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges, a position held since June 2022, after serving as the Assistant Director for the same initiative. Previous experience includes roles as a Social Science Researcher at The University of Georgia and as a Lecturer in the Online Master of Science in Communication program at Purdue University. At Vanderbilt University, Heather held positions as a Lecturer in Human and Organizational Development and Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching. Earlier in the career, significant roles included Mellon Foundation Pedagogy Researcher at Colorado College and various positions at Purdue University, including Postdoctoral Research Associate and Graduate Student Instructor of Record. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication and Social Psychology and an MA in Interpersonal Communication from Purdue University, along with a BA in Interpersonal Communication from Bryant University.
