Ali Awartany

Ali Awartany has extensive experience in training and consultation, with a focus on anti-money laundering, anti-financial crimes, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Since January 2009, Ali has been self-employed, offering expertise in compliance systems and payment company policies and procedures. Currently, Ali is a member of the ACFE Advisory Council, involved in training and development. Previous roles include Chief Compliance and Risk Management Officer at Gate to Pay and Middle East Payment Services, both of which emphasized compliance training and development. In academics, Ali is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Economics at the University of Jordan, expected to complete in August 2024, following a Master’s degree in Finance & Investment from The Hashemite University, awarded with high honors.
