Mandy Nichols has extensive experience in the field of developmental disabilities and public policy. Currently serving as Vice President at the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers since July 2013, Mandy leads policy initiatives and advocates for funding and legislative goals while participating in strategic planning and operations management. Previously, as Director of Programs and Analysis, Mandy conducted research and analysis on policies affecting long-term services and supports, collaborating with state agencies to implement systemic changes. At The Arc of Massachusetts, Mandy held roles including Director of Public Policy and Outreach, overseeing health research projects and expanding business development, and as Day Habilitation Program Manager, successfully navigating challenges to program funding. Mandy holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Radford University and several relevant certifications.
