Susanna Luukinen

Susanna Luukinen is a Communications Specialist at the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities since November 2021, focusing on environment and climate communications, EU and international communications, and social media. With extensive experience in sustainable development and climate issues, Susanna has also served as a Political Assistant to Tiina Elo at the Parliament of Finland, leading climate and environment initiatives. As Chairperson and Co-Founder of Zero Waste Finland ry, Susanna promoted sustainability and the Zero Waste lifestyle, while previous roles included campaign coordination for Vihreät - De Gröna and project coordination for the National Council of Women of Finland. Susanna holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Helsinki.
