Mike Geiger, MBA, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Advisor and previously held the positions of President and CEO at the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global) since November 2017. Prior to this role, Mike was the Executive Director at the Chief Executives Organization from December 2010 to October 2017, where responsibilities included supporting a team dedicated to serving members. Mike also held significant roles at the German Marshall Fund of the United States as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from January 2005 to December 2010, overseeing Finance, Administration, HR, and IT, and served as Chief Financial Officer at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace from 1998 to 2005, managing finance and investment functions. Academically, Mike Geiger earned an MBA in Finance from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business.
