ASSOCIATION OF INSPECTORS GENERAL
Michael Castrilli is an experienced executive and educator with a diverse background in leadership, program development, and financial literacy. Currently serving as the Executive Director at the Association of Inspectors General, Michael has held various leadership roles including Interim Executive Director and Program Director. Prior to this, Michael was the Senior Program Director for Financial Literacy at Working In Support of Education (W!se), overseeing national certification programs. Academic contributions include teaching at Villanova School of Business and directing grant-funded initiatives in financial literacy. Michael's prior experience includes significant roles at Decision Lens, Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, and Booz Allen Hamilton, among others. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University, a Master of Divinity from Washington Theological Union, and a Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Education from the University at Albany.

The Association fosters and promotes public accountability and integrity in the general areas of the prevention, examination, investigation, audit, detection, elimination and prosecution of fraud, waste and abuse, through policy research and analysis; standardization of practices, policies, conduct and ethics; encouragement of professional development by providing and sponsoring educational programs; and the establishment of professional qualifications, certifications and licensing.
