Joseph Onele

Joseph Onele is a Senior Partner at Primus Grace LP, where responsibilities include leading the Corporate and Commercial Law Practice and Regulatory Support Practice since February 2018. Joseph also serves as a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), contributing to the effectiveness of international energy negotiations. As a peer reviewer for both the Journal of International Dispute Settlement at Oxford University Press and the Journal of African Law at Cambridge University Press, Joseph evaluates scholarly publications in international arbitration and related fields. Joseph's research interests include Energy & Natural Resources Law, Human & Business Rights, and Public International Law, as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Adelaide. Additional roles include Editor at Sustainable Development Laws, communications consultant for Portland Communications Europe, and Head of Legal Services at Field Offshore Design Engineering Ltd. Joseph holds a PhD in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Adelaide, as well as degrees from the University of Ibadan, University of Aberdeen, and the Nigerian Law School.
