Alicia Anstead is a seasoned producer and educator with extensive experience in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Producer for the Arts First Festival and Associate Director for Programming at the Office for the Arts at Harvard since September 2009, Alicia leads the production of diverse events that engage students and the wider Cambridge-Boston community. Additionally, Alicia co-founded the Harvard Arts Blog, where responsibilities include overseeing student bloggers as Editor-in-Chief. Current roles also include Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Earlhamite for Earlham College and Director of "Downeast Speaks" at Isle Theater Company. Other notable experiences encompass teaching courses in narrative journalism and writing at Harvard Extension School, co-producing the APAP|NYC conference, and serving as a Program Consultant for the National Archives Foundation. Alicia's background is fortified by a solid academic foundation, including degrees from American University, the University of Maine, and participation in prestigious fellowships at Harvard and Columbia University.
