Jamie Atchison, MSMIT, serves as the Senior Director of Innovation and Strategic Planning at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health since October 2009, where Jamie leads the development and implementation of the organization's strategic action plan in alignment with budget goals. In previous roles within ASPPH, Jamie has focused on digital transformation, web strategy, and enhancing operational efficiencies, including advising C-Suite executives and spearheading website redesigns. Jamie holds a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia and a BA in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. Earlier experiences include internship roles in political campaigns, providing foundational skills in fundraising, event organization, and strategic communication.

Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH)
ASPPH is the voice of academic public health, representing schools and programs accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). ASPPH promotes the efforts of schools and programs of public health to improve the health of every person through education, research, and policy. Based upon the belief that “you’re only as healthy as the world you live in,” ASPPH works with stakeholders to develop solutions to the most pressing health concerns and provides access to the ongoing initiatives of the schools of public health. ASPPH created the brand This Is Public Health (TIPH) to raise awareness about education and career options in public health through student ambassadors, graduate fairs, partnerships, interprofessional activities, and other pipeline-building events for students.
