Doug Evans is an accomplished Information Security Manager at the Association of Washington Cities, where significant achievements include achieving HIPAA and PCI DSS compliance and developing comprehensive security policies. Prior experience includes serving as IT Manager, where leadership of a cross-functional team was demonstrated along with staff recruitment and training initiatives. Doug’s previous roles include Server Systems Administrator at the University of Puget Sound, supporting Windows/Linux servers and designing the university's SharePoint intranet, and serving in various capacities at Microsoft, including Build Coordinator for several groups. Doug has extensive DevOps experience with automation and software development processes across different programming languages. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Game and Interactive Media Design at Lindenwood University, Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Saint Martin's University.
