Association of Washington Cities
Gene Emmans is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the Association of Washington Cities. Prior to this role, Gene held the same position at the Washington State Department of Agriculture and Rebuild Philadelphia. Gene also worked as a Budget Assistant to the Governor at the Office of Financial Management and as a Budget Analyst for both the U.S. House Committee on the Budget and the U.S. Senate Committee on the Budget. With a background in public policy analysis and government, Gene has a strong foundation in financial management and budget analysis.

The Association of Washington Cities (AWC) is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation that represents all 281 Washington's cities and towns before the state legislature, the state executive branch and with regulatory agencies.
