Lashea Haynes

LaShea Haynes has extensive experience in nursing and education, currently serving as the Editor of AWHONN’s Healthy Mom & Baby Magazine and as an AWHONN Instructor teaching various fetal monitoring courses. Since 2020, LaShea has worked as a Staff Nurse in LDRP at Wellstar Health System and has been the Founder and Owner of Perinatal Potpourri, LLC since 2015. In addition, LaShea is a National Speaker for MED-ED, delivering courses on inpatient obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring. With a background as a Legal Nurse Consultant since 2007 and a Hologic Nurse Ambassador since 2006, LaShea also held roles as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in various health systems prior to 2020. LaShea holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Mercer University, a Master of Education from Widener University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jefferson Health.
