Rick Burt, CAE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Rick began their career as the Director of Education & PIKE University at Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity from 2006 to 2013. Following that, they served as the Director of Education and Leadership Development at the North-American Interfraternity Conference from 2013 to 2015. Rick then joined Alpha Gamma Delta as the Training & Development Manager from 2015 to 2017. After that, they worked as a Facilitator at NovakTalks, where they delivered empowering messages to student leaders, from 2016 to 2019. From 2017 to 2020, Rick served as the Director of the Executive Officers Council at the National Association of Home Builders. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Membership and Volunteer Engagement at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) since 2021. Rick's roles have involved strategic planning, membership development, education and leadership development, and facilitation.
Rick Burt, CAE, obtained their Master of Arts degree in Executive Leadership from Christian Brothers University in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Georgia State University in 2005. Rick also attended the University of North Georgia from 1999 to 2001, though it is unclear if they completed a degree during that time. In addition to their formal education, Rick Burt has obtained certifications in Ethical Leadership from Christian Brothers University in 2009 and as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in 2018.
