Angelo Loreto

Angelo Loreto is a skilled sommelier with extensive experience in the field, having served at Associazione Italiana Sommelier since June 2020. Previous roles as a sommelier at Ottà Cantina Gastronomica and Osteria del Borgo Antico in 2023 further showcase expertise in wine and gastronomy. In addition to a strong background in journalism, including a long tenure as a correspondent for La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno from January 2002 to August 2022, Angelo has also worked as a press officer for Valentino Basket Castellaneta and Prisma Taranto Volley. Early training as a corsista at Associazione Italiana Sommelier between January 2018 and March 2020 laid the foundation for a career blending journalism and sommelier competencies.
