Lorena Merlini

Lorena Merlini is an accomplished beverage professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Beverage Manager at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. since September 2019, Merlini has also held significant roles including Head Sommelier/Beverage Manager at Viking Cruises from February 2015 to February 2019 and Sommelier at Galvin restaurants from 2013 to December 2014. In addition to expertise in beverage management, Merlini has a background in customer service as a Customer Service Account Executive at Fnac Italia Spa and experience in international relations through involvement with the Socrates/Erasmus Project at IULM University. Merlini's educational credentials include advanced qualifications in wine and spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, a diploma in sommelier studies from Associazione Italiana Sommelier, and a Master's degree in Marketing from Örebro University.
