Giulia Cuman

Giulia Cuman is a highly experienced legal expert and policy advisor currently serving at the Italian Senate, focusing on law drafting and review. With a diverse background, Giulia holds positions as a researcher for the National Research Project PNC TT NETWORK financed by the Italian Ministry of Health, a contract professor in bioethics at the University of Padova, and president of the Research Ethics Committee at Istituto Oncologico Veneto. Past roles include legal advisor for the Italian Government on disability rights, director of a multipurpose care center, and principal investigator for an international research project on the societal and ethical aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Giulia holds advanced degrees in law and bioethics from prestigious institutions, including KU Leuven and Radboud University. Additionally, Giulia has a longstanding commitment to rugby, having played for various clubs since 2012.
