Mohammed al-Shaikh

Mohammed Al-Shaikh has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mohammed began their career in 2013 as a Marketing Assistant at Safari Co. where they managed marketing and communications and provided market feedback. Mohammed then worked as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Zone Reach, responsible for coordinating between telecoms marketing teams and creating marketing materials.

In 2015, Mohammed joined Shades House as an Account Manager, where they operated as the lead contact for customer matters and developed strong customer relationships. Mohammed then moved on to Lava International Limited in 2017, where they worked as a Retail Manager, setting sales goals and managing regional managers and representatives.

From 2019 onwards, Mohammed took on a series of brand manager roles in the telecom industry. Mohammed started as a Brand Manager for Huawei, focusing on MBB and tablet business, and later worked as a Brand Manager for various other companies such as ZTE, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Nokia, Wiko, and Honor. In these roles, they led distribution channels, developed value propositions, and worked on increasing channel breadth.

Prior to that, in 2006 to 2007, they earned an English Academic Diploma from the EF Executive Language Institute, focusing on English Language and Literature. Additionally, Mohammed Al-Shaikh has obtained various certifications such as "Building Your Team," "Create a Go-To-Market Plan," "Making Great Sales Presentations," "Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap," and "Retail Sales Management," all from LinkedIn, in March 2020. Mohammed also holds a Certified Marketing Management Professionals (CMMP) certification from the International Institute of Marketing Professionals, which they achieved in December 2015. Furthermore, they have completed the "24 Minute Sales Program" from Potential in July 2015 and the "Leading with Emotional Intelligence (EQ)" course from Mega Training in November 2014.
