Michel Allain

Michel Allain began their work experience in 1999 at Assumption Life, where they held various positions, including Vice President, CFO, and Chief Actuary. Michel also served as Vice President of Actuarial Services and Vice President of Group Insurance and Actuarial Services. Before assuming these roles, they worked as a Director and Senior Actuarial Analyst at the same company. In 2016, they joined Vestcor Investment Management Corporation as a Director, and later also served as a Director at Vestcor Pension Services Corporation from 2016 to 2018.

Michel Allain obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Michel also holds several certifications in leadership and personal development from LMI Canada Inc., including Effective Strategic Leadership and Total Leader obtained in 2018, Effective Motivational Leadership obtained in 2015, and Effective Personal Leadership and Effective Personal Productivity obtained in 2011 and 2010 respectively.
